Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This FAQ page is designed to answer your most common questions and provide a clear picture of what’s available to support focus, learning, and overall well-being. Whether you’re exploring services for yourself or someone you care about, you’ll find helpful information to guide your next steps.

1. What services do you provide, and how do they work?

I offer a range of services designed to help individuals overcome challenges with focus, learning, anxiety, stress, and overall performance. My services include:

  • Personalized strategies for individuals and professionals to identify strengths and difficulties that affect daily tasks and learning.

  • Neurofeedback training to help your brain become more efficient and flexible.

  • Educational resources, including my book, free downloads, three free chapters of my book, and other materials that explain how attention and learning challenges can be linked to brain function.

  • The Clarity Essential™ program, which provides a comprehensive review of your abilities and creates a clear, customized plan to help you succeed in school, work, or daily life.

Each service begins with a personalized consultation to understand your goals and determine which approach will be most helpful for you.

2. How can I tell if your services are right for me?

My services are designed for anyone experiencing challenges with attention, learning, focus, stress, or anxiety, whether it’s in school, work, or daily life. I work with children, teenagers, and adults.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling to meet your goals, a personalized consultation can help identify underlying factors and offer strategies to move forward.

3. What can I expect during my first consultation?

During your first consultation, we’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing and what you hope to achieve. I’ll gather some background information and explain how my services work. This is a relaxed, supportive conversation—it’s not a test or evaluation.

At the end of the consultation, I’ll outline next steps and answer any questions you have about how we can work together.

4. How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment is easy. You can either:

  • Book online through the “Schedule a Consultation” button on my website.

  • Call my office at (909) 435-7189, and my team will assist you with scheduling.

I offer flexible appointment times, including remote options.

5. Where are you located, and do you offer remote services?

I have two locations in Southern California: one in Redlands and another in Rancho Cucamonga. For those who cannot meet in person or prefer remote options, I also offer consultations and neurofeedback training remotely through secure online sessions.

6. What is neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive brain training technique that helps your brain become more efficient and balanced. It uses sensors to measure your brain’s activity—similar to how an EKG measures your heart. Nothing goes back to your brain; it’s a one-way system that simply reads and reports brain activity.

You participate in a brain training plan that includes interacting with scientifically created video training programs. The system gives real-time feedback while you watch these videos or listen to sounds, gently guiding your brain to learn more flexible and effective patterns.

7. How can neurofeedback help with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, or other challenges?

Neurofeedback helps your brain become more flexible and efficient, which can make it easier to focus, stay calm, and manage daily stressors. It’s been shown to be helpful for individuals dealing with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, learning difficulties, and challenges with work performance.

By providing direct feedback, neurofeedback guides your brain to healthier patterns of activity, supporting better attention, reduced anxiety, and a calmer response to stressful or traumatic memories.

8. Is neurofeedback safe?

Yes, neurofeedback is considered safe and non-invasive. It doesn’t involve medication or electrical stimulation. Sensors only read your brain’s activity—nothing goes back to your brain. It’s similar to how a heart monitor (EKG) reads heart rhythms. Most people find neurofeedback relaxing and notice gradual improvements in their focus, stress, and overall well-being.

9. How long does a neurofeedback session last?

Each neurofeedback session typically lasts about 30 minutes. Sessions are generally scheduled two to three times per week to help reinforce the training and support steady improvement.

10. How do I get started with neurofeedback at your clinic?

Getting started is simple. First, we’ll schedule a consultation to learn more about your goals and how neurofeedback can support them. Once we’ve reviewed your needs, I’ll create a personalized training plan for you.

You can book a consultation online through my website or call my office at (909) 435-7189 to set up a time that works best for you.
